WET CLAY Class - Ages 7 & up

Cool CLAY "Name Plaque"

The Name Plaque is designed using balls of clay to form the child's name or initials and painted that day in awesome colors, ready to hang in their room.
We will need the children's names or 3 initials, one week before the class.
Maximum lettering for plaque is 6 letters - we're sorry but no exceptions.
These projects will be fired twice and hand glazed in clear.
$15 per child.


Times available are: Tuesday through Friday 4-5pm/Thursday 5-6pm/Saturday 10:30-11:30am. Saturdays not available in December.

All classes are scheduled for 1 hour including the tour. Some will last slightly longer or shorter depending on the number of scouts. Allow 10-14 days for final firing. Please plan to have your group snack before or after coming to the studio. Snacks will NOT be allowed during the class time. No substitutions of Class Items or Ceramic Pieces allowed, except as needed by CIC. Events should be scheduled atleast 2-3 weeks in advance. A $50 non refundable deposit is required. A minimum of 10 children is required. Less than 10, you will be charged for 10. We offer these events for scouts only - siblings are not to be included. If a sibling is from another troop, we will be happy to host an event for their troop. Leaders are invited to join the activity and must remain with the troop. Scout events are drop off - parents/siblings are encouraged to leave - or they may choose to paint on their own in our studio. Waiting in our studio is discouraged, this area is for paying customers. There are several restaurants, 2 coffee houses and a grocery store within walking distance.

***Special Pricing is for Non-Profit Organizations, Schools and Churches only. Proof of Non-Profit Tax Exemption is required at payment of the event. Without a copy of documentation, prices will be as listed in the studio. Without proof, the State of Michigan requires collection of 6% sales tax which cannot be refunded at a later date.
